Greetings One World by Night!
It's that time again - here we go for round three! I very much want to complete a third term as Changing Breeds Coordinator, and lead genre into a new series of events to set the tone for coming years.
For those of you who don't know me... I am a self-employed photographer and graphic designer as well as an educator. I am married to a fellow gamer, and we own a small zoo. I like long walks in places where the air doesn't hurt my face, and the natives have never seen snow. But I live in Indiana. I also like fast cars.
Being self-employed has its bonuses and drawbacks for being in volunteer positions. One of the bonuses is flexibility in schedule and free time, allowing me to travel and be available at odd times. That is also a drawback as I can have work come in that will require my attention sometimes on short notice. But my past two terms have helped to find what it takes to balance those needs.

É tempo novamente - aqui vamos nós para o terceiro round! Quero muito para completar um terceiro mandato como Coordenador Metamorfos, e levar gênero em uma nova série de eventos para definir o tom para os próximos anos.
Para aqueles de vocês que não me conhece... Sou um fotógrafo independente e designer gráfico, bem como um educador. Sou casado com uma companheira de jogo, e nós temos nosso próprio pequeno jardim zoológico. Gosto de longas caminhadas em lugares onde o ar não machuca o meu rosto e os nativos nunca viram neve. Mas eu vivo em Indiana. Também gosto de carros rápidos.
Ser meu próprio chefe tem seus bônus e desvantagens para estar em posições de voluntários. Uma das vantagens é a flexibilidade no horário e tempo livre, permitindo-me viajar e estar disponível em momentos ímpares. Essa é também uma desvantagem já que eu posso ter trabalho que surgem exigindo a minha atenção, por vezes, com pouco prazo de antecedência. Mas os meus últimos dois mandatos têm ajudado a encontrar o que é preciso para equilibrar essas necessidades.

My OWbN Administrative experience includes: Head Storyteller Indianapolis, IN Sabbat: Stars Never Rise 2015 to present, and Council Member and Storyteller for Stars Never Rise 2014 to present. Assistant Storyteller for Bloomington, IN Camarilla 2004-2005. I also have been an Assistant Storyteller or player in Camarilla, Sabbat, and Changing Breeds genre (multiple games) 2000-2007, and troupe games from 1995 to 2007 (Camarilla, Sabbat, Garou, Anarch, Changeling, Mage). Currently an active player in Sabbat, Anarch, and Garou within One World by Night.

Personal Statement:
Being Changing Breeds Coordinator has meant a great deal to me. It has allowed me to meet many new faces, and interact more deeply with people I probably wouldn't have in another situation. The position has reinforced my desire to guide and work with others to give players and storytellers what they desire, while still being able to build a cohesive world-spanning story. I look forward to continuing this trend, and exploring new ways to improve the genre and our personal stories.
I have learned along the way, that my way may not always be the best way. I have learned that the voices of others on the team are needed, and important to listen to when making the decisions we collectively make. Ultimately though, all of the team's choices are on my shoulders, as I am the accountable person. I have plans in place for several ongoing plots, as well as a few plots waiting to be put into action when the time is right for them.
Each year, I have made packets - tribal, genre, and breed-specific - a goal. I have gotten some, but not all of my desired packets up for vote. At this time, I don't have them all completed... but we are working on them. It is a long process to build on what has been used in the past, include what exists within our shared history, and prepare them to be able to lead their respective topics for the next few years.
I have plans. I'll be asking some of my current team members to stay, and build on their experience to move projects forward.

Ser Coordenador Metamorfos significou muito para mim. Ele tem me permitiu conhecer muitas caras novas, e interagir mais profundamente com as pessoas que eu provavelmente não teria em outra situação. A posição reforçou o meu desejo de orientar e trabalhar com outros para dar aos jogadores e aos narradores o que eles desejam, enquanto ainda está sendo capaz de construir uma história de abrangência mundial coesa. Estou ansioso para continuar esta tendência, e explorar novas formas de melhorar o gênero e as nossas histórias pessoais.
Eu aprendi ao longo do caminho que o meu caminho pode não ser sempre o melhor caminho. Eu aprendi que as vozes dos outros membros da equipe são necessários e importantes de escutar para as tomadas das decisões que coletivamente executamos. Em última análise, porém, todas as escolhas da equipe estão sobre os meus ombros, visto que eu sou a pessoa responsável. Eu tenho planos em vigor para várias plots em andamento, bem como algumas plots que esperam para ser colocado em ação quando for a hora certa para elas.
A cada ano eu tenho feito packets - tribal, gênero e raça específica - um objetivo. Tenho obtido alguns, mas não todos os meus packets desejados para votação. Neste momento, eu não tê-los todos concluída... mas estamos a trabalhar sobre eles. My goals for this term are to:
- Finish an update of packets for all garou tribes, and the commonly played changing breeds
- Complete outstanding plots, using them to move the OWbN genres forward
- Roll out new plot projects, updating new bits of the various genres
- Work with other Coords and STs to help make the World of Darkness feel like One World, and make it feel less like forced cross-genre or monster-of-the-week
- Help create resources that storytellers and players have asked for: genre guides, and ways to use the various changing breeds in chronicles and stories where they are not the main focus
- Update the bylaws to reflect changes that occur, and to better reflect what is best for OWbN

Os meus objectivos para este mandato são:
- Terminar uma atualização de packets para todas as tribos garou, e as raças de metamorfos comumente jogados
- Completar plots pendentes, utilizando-os para mover os gêneros OWBN para frente
- Implantação de novos projetos de plots, atualizando novos detalhes dos vários gêneros
- Trabalhar com outra Coords e STS para ajudar a tornar o Mundo das Trevas ser como como o One World, e fazê-lo sentir-se menos forçado ao cross-gênero ou monstro-de-semana
- Ajudar à criar recursos que narradores e jogadores pedira: guias de gênero e maneiras de usar as várias raças de metamorfos nas crônicas e histórias onde eles não são o foco principal
- Atualize o byLaws para refletir as mudanças que ocorrem, e para melhor refletir o que é melhor para OWBN
