Introduction and Background:
My name is Jeff Cauley and I’ve been a member of the organization since November 1998. In that time, I’ve played numerous characters in multiple genres and served all manner of jobs in OWbN. But that’s all printed facts. What’s most important here is simply: I love One World by Night. I’ve been part of it for 19 years, it’s where I’ve met so many friends and family and been party to so many wonderful stories. For all that this Organization has given me, I enjoy giving back where I can and guiding one of my favorite genres. Over the past two years, I’ve started some exciting changes and I’m looking forward to continue guiding some of these to the next step.

Meu nome é Jeff Cauley e sou membro da organização desde Novembro de 1998. Deste então, joguei com vários personagens em vários gêneros e servi em várias funções na OWbN. Mas isso são todos fatos públicos. O que é mais importante é simplesmente: eu amo One World by Night. Sou parte dela por 19 anos, é onde conheci vários amigos e família e fui parte de tantas histórias maravilhosas. Por tudo o que esta organização me deu, eu gosto de devolver onde posso e guiando um dos meus gêneros favoritos. Personal Statement:
The Camarilla represents a vast portion of the Vampire genre and each year my goal is to build of the existing work and continue to grow the genre. With the new positions, new status rules, and now factions, I look forward to see a lot of role-play as all these new elements come together. I look forward to see how all the players guide the setting of the Camarilla and I want to give them the tools to really enjoy the genre.
Personal Statement (Portuguese):
A Camarilla representa uma vasta porção do gênero Vampiro e a cada ano meu objetivo é construir em cima do trabalho existente e continuar a expandir o gênero. Com as novas posições, regras de status e agora facções, estou animado para ver bastante jogo quando todos estes elementos se unirem. Espero ver como todos os jogadores guiam o cenário da Camarilla e quero dar a eles as ferramentas para realmente se divertir no jogo.
Goals:
With the completion of the Genre packet and the introduction of Camarilla Organizations, there is now going to be a lot of work filling out those roles and getting those Organizations up to speed. I have plans in place for SubCoords to take over each Organization’s operation and get things rolling.
Last year I had planned to flesh out the Harridan and the Fury roles. With the Fury team now fully staffed and their efforts in effect, I plan to monitor their actions and keep the positions engaged and active.
There’s been a lot of feedback on the status system and we have some plans to implement some changes based on player actions.
With the advent of the Consul, there is going to be some changing dynamics between the Sabbat and Camarilla, I want to keep an eye on that and make sure whatever transition occurs is smooth (at least smooth OOC) and makes sense while at the same time giving Chronicles the freedom to run the stories they wish.
I want to focus a bit of effort this year on the Red List. We have some vacancies on it that need to be filled.
There’s some matters that I think need to be addressed at a Conclave to happen in the near future, I’m going to explore the possibility of hosting one within the year (though, definitely not at Glitter & Gloom, we had the last one).
Goals (Portuguese):
Com a finalização do packet de gênero e a introdução das Organizações Camarilla, terá agora bastante traballho para preencher estes papéis e atualizar estas Organizações. Tenho planos para ter Subcoords controlando as operações de cada uma destas organizações e tocarem o jogo.
Ano passado eu tinha planejado organizar os papéis de Harridan e Fúrias. Agora com a equipe de Fúrias completa e seus esforços em efeito, planejo monitorar suas ações e manter as posições engajadas e ativas.
Teve bastante retorno sobre o sistema de status e temos alguns planos para implementar algumas mudanças baseadas nas ações dos jogadores.
Com a criação dos Consuls, irá haver algumas mudanças de dinâmica entre o Sabá e a Camarilla, quero manter um olho nisso e garantir que qualquer transição ocorra de forma suave (ao menos suave em OOC) e faça sentido ao mesmo tempo em que damos às Crônicas a liberdade de contar as histórias que desejarem.
Quero focar um pouco de esforço este ano na Red List. Temos algumas vagas que precisam ser preenchidas.
Há alguns assuntos que acredito precisam ser resolvidos via um Conclave a acontecer em algum tempo próximo. Irei explorar a possibilidade de ter um este ano (embora definitivamente não no Glitter and Gloom, tivemos o último).
