2016 - Salubri - Kat F
Introduction and Background:
For those who don’t already know me, my name is Kat, and I am the current Salubri Coordinator. I stepped into the role two years ago, having decided to run after extensive conversations with a good chunk of the active SAT playerbase about what they were looking for from their experience with the genre. I have been involved in the Org since 2003, when I started college, and have been a player, ST, Subcoord, and Coord in that time.
I’ve served in a multitude of roles over my decade and change with the Org, from ST, HST, CM, Subcoord, Coord, and on rare occasions, just as a player. My favourite genres are Sabbat, Mage, and Changeling, and I am stoked to see more Changeling and Mage games cropping up in the Org, (and even get the play in some of them)! I love being able to hit events as the gaming is fun, but it’s also great to get to see friends who live all over the country.
The past two years, I’ve done a lot to help build up the SAT genre and get more folks interested in playing in it, and I’d like to keep doing so for another year.

Para aqueles que não me conhecem ainda, meu nome é Kat e sou a Coordenadora Salubri atual. Subi ao cargo dois anos atrás, tendo decidido concorrer após conversas extensas com uma boa parte da base de players ativas de Salubris AT sobre o que eles estavam buscando para suas experiências com o gênero. Sou envolvida com a Org desde 2003, quando comecei a faculdade e fui player, ST, Subcoord e Coord desde então.
Já atuei em diversos papeis em minha década e troco na Org, de ST, HST, CM, Subcoord e Coord e em raras ocasiões apenas uma player. Meus gêneros favoritos são Sabá, Mago e Changeling e estou animada para ver mais jogos de Magos e Changeling aparecendo na Org (e ter a chance de jogar em alguns deles)! Adoro poder frequentar eventos já que jogar é divertido, mas também é ótimo ver amigos que moram por todo o país.
Nos últimos dois anos, fiz bastante para auxiliar a erguer o gênero SAT e ter mais pessoas interessadas em jogar com eles e gostaria de continuar por mais um ano.

Personal Statement:
As mentioned above, I got my start back in 2003, when I started college, and a bunch of friends I played Exalted with conned me into trying out the local OWbN Larp. I’ve lived in the North East most of my life, but moved down to Maryland last year to be closer to family. As an added positive side effect, this has been beneficial to my being able to hit more event games (and my cat, Zillah loves me telecommuting for work, but hates me travelling more for events).
In my position as Coord, I have tried to work with both STs and the player base (successfully I think) to help push the genre forward, incorporating goals and projects that PCs have been working on and pushing for into the overall genre of the Clan. I believe as a Coordinator the primary job is to offer support to STs and players, to help provide direction for the genre of a Clan, and to ensure that the Clan’s genre is upheld and maintained. To a lesser extent, I also believe at times providing plot that is accessible to players, but not required for them to be involved in, is also part and parcel of being a Coordinator.
This past year, I’ve been able to implement a plot via multiple chronicles throughout the US and Brazil that has, thus far, met with a great deal of success, and have gotten positive feedback on it from players and STs alike.
Personal Statement (Portuguese):
Como falei acima, comecei a jogar em 2003, quando comecei a faculdade e um grupo de amigos com quem eu jogava Exalted me enrolaram em tentar o live action local da OWBN. More no Nordeste a maior parte da minha vida, mas me mudei para Maryland ano passado para ficar mais próxima da família. Como um efeito positivo, isto tem sido mais benéfico para conseguir frequentar mais eventos (e minha gata, Zillah, ama quando saio para trabalhar, mas odeia minhas viagens para eventos mais frequentes)
Na minha posição como Coord, tentei trabalhar tanto com STS e a base de jogadores (de forma bem sucedida acredito) para auxiliar a movimentar o jogo para frente, incorporando objetivos e projetos que os PCs tem trabalhado e buscado no gênero geral do Clã. Acredito que como Coordenadora meu papel principal é oferecer apoio para STs e players, auxiliar a prover direção para o gênero de um clã e assegurar que este gênero seja mantido e seguido. Em um grau menor, também acredito que fornecer plots que sejam acessíveis aos players, mas que não exija a sua participação é parte de ser Coordenador.
Neste último ano, consegui implementar uma plot através de várias crônicas pelos EUA e Brasil que, até o momento, foi recebido com bastante sucesso e recebi feedback positivo sobre de players e STs.
Goals:
Goals Accomplished in the 2015 Term
• Continuing to develop the Choir and pushing for more PC driven leadership within it, and more PC involvement in general.
• We’ve seen some more tension in regards to those PCs who want to distance themselves from the Healer/Warrior Castes of old and those who still feel there is a way to restore those roles to the Clan, and it has been interesting to see the discussions and debates at Clan meetings and on the IC list.
• Response times to under a week. For the most part, I have been able to manage this. Scenes haven’t always fallen under this timeframe for a variety of reasons. Anything involving R&U or character concepts has been under a week, usually no more than a 24 hour turnaround.
• Legacy of the Shrouded Veil Plot.Players and STs jumped right into it. My office has been working in conjunction with several other Coordinators, as well as several Chronicles to implement the plot.
• The Watchers. There have been some more hooks and pieces of info put into circulation.
• The Fallen Angels. As with the Watchers, there have been things placed into motion on this front.
2016 Goals
• Update the Packet. Mostly line item edits, clarifications, a non-binding Lore guide (Already written, if you would like a copy, just ask). Full translation to Portuguese. Hopefully some artwork if I can convince someone to help out with that.
• Move the IC SAT list over to GoogleGroups, but maintain the Archives.
• Response times of 3 days or less.
• Add on 1-2 new Subcoords to replace the ones lost this past term.
• More PC leadership in the Choir. We’ve made progress in the last term, I’d like to continue seeing this move forward.
• Continue to run the Legacy of the Shrouded Veil Plot. I’ve been thrilled with how things have been going so far with the plot, and how easy it has been to work with the ST staffs, players, and the other Coords involved on this project. I am looking forward to seeing what direction players wind up taking things in. If your game wants in, it’s not too late!
• Continued schism within the Salubri Antitribu between the Furies and those who want to return to the Warrior/Healer dynamic.
Goals (Portuguese):
Objetivos Cumpridos no Mandato de 2015
• Continuar a desenvolver o Coro e apoiar uma liderança mais conduzida pelos players e mais envolvimento dos PCs de forma geral.
• Vimos mais tensão relativa a aqueles PCs que querem se distanciar das Castas de Healer/Warrior de antigamente e aqueles que ainda sentem que há uma maneira de restaurar estes papeis dentro do Clã e tem sido interessante ver os debates e discussões nas reuniões de Clã e na lista IC.
• Tempo de respostas abaixo de uma semana. Em sua maioria, tenho sido capaz de cumprir isto. Cenas nem sempre caíram dentro deste período por uma varidade de razões. Qualquer coisa envolvendo R&Us ou conceitos de personagens tem sido abaixo de uma semana, habitualmente não mais que 24h
• Plot "Legacy of the Shrouded Veil'.Players e STs pularam de imediato. Esta Coordenação tem trabalhado em conjunto com vários outros Coordenadores, bem como várias Crônicas para implementar o plot.
• The Watchers. Tem havido alguns ganchos e pedaços de informação sendo postas em circulação.
• The Fallen Angels. Assim como os Watchers, tem havido coisas sendo postas em andamento neste front.
Objetivos para 2016
• Atualizar o Packet. Em sua maioria edições de linhas, clarificações, um guia de Lore não obrigatório (já escrito, se quiser uma cópia, basta pedir). Tradução completa para Português. Esperançosamente alguma arte gráfica se conseguir convencer alguém a me ajudar com isso.
• Mover a lista IC SAT para o GoogleGroups, mas manter os Arquivos.
• Tempo de resposta de 3 dias ou menos.
• Adicionar 1-2 novos Subcoords para substituir os que perdi neste último mandato.
• Mais liderança de PC dentro do Coro. Tivemos progresso no último mandado, mas gostaria de continuar a ver isto seguir adiante.
• Continuar a conduzir a plot "Legacy of the Shrouded Veil". Estou animada com a forma com as quaias as coisas tem caminhado até o momento com essa plot e como tem sido fácil trabalhar com diretorias, players e outros Coordenadores envolvidos neste projeto. Aguardo ansiosamente para ver qual a direção que os players irão tomar. Se o seu jogo quiser participar, não é tarde demais!
• Continuar a cisma dentro dos Salubri Antitribu entre as Fúrias e aqueles que querem retornar à dinâmica Warrior/Healer.
