This is intended to show how the voting process works on the website. For information on OWBN Voting Procedures, please consult the Administrative Bylaws, specifically section 3 - Proposals and Voting Procedures.
Voting
Open Votes are visible on the Council Member Dashboard. Click on the Proposal name, and choose a vote. Please do not forget to click on the submit button at the end of the vote proposal.
To change your vote, click on the Open Vote and make adjustments. Remember to click on the submit button to make the changes.
If you are both a CM and a Coordinator, there will be a drop down list to choose whether you want to vote as a CM or as a Coordinator. Please choose the correct option before submitting.
A comment may be added to a vote. Please remember that comments can be edited, but to prevent abuse of the comment feature, the previous comments are viewable by other Council Members. In the event of a public vote, the public can see the vote comments. Please consider your comments carefully.
Older Closed Votes can be viewed by clicking on "View Closed Votes".
Please keep in mind that older records may have some gaps in vote identities, this is due to imperfect vote records in older site architecture.
