[Proposal] Line item change to Honeyed Tongue

I, as Ravnos coord, propose the following change to the Merit: Honey Tongued in the 2013 Ravnos Packet;

 

From 

 

Honeyed Tongue ( 2 point Merit )

Lies pass thru your lips as if it were the absolute truth. People tend to believe your lies no matter how insane or made-up they may sound. This merit gives you a two trait bonus when subterfuge is the retest and receive a free retest once per night on any such challenge.

Why Will?! Why change?!

 

Because I get many comments in how this merit is used. They are a rarely good comments. These comments come from both players and STs. Mostly, they are someone using horrid reality and adding this to their retest onslaught. In many cases I even hear its used with Luck behind it, to make it yet another retest after ability, awe, item, etc.

 

This merit is meant to be used when you are talking and lying. When you are so sly people can’t see through your words. Not eat my Horrid Reality I bust out as I leave obfuscate.

 

You want to get your role-play on?I think you deserve a retest to hide the truth.

 

I plan on tossing out a new packet after the end of my current plot, based on the possible outcomes, and I feel this should be handled sooner rather then later.
