This does not require a Second, but if you do not agree you may put Objection in the subject line to force this Proposal to go to a vote.====================================================================

I hereby propose the following change to this bylaw:

Current:
"vii. Removal from Office
1. This action may be combined with any other action or combination of actions.
2. This action may only be taken against a Coordinator mentioned in the Coordinator Bylaws, Section 1, or a sub-coordinator of one of those positions.
3. The proposal containing this action against an elected Coordinator must pass with a two- thirds majority without the support of the Head Coordinator. With the support of the Head Coordinator only a simple majority is required.
4. Upon ratification of the removal the member will no longer serve OWBN in the position previously held. This action may not be reversed."

Proposed:
"vii. Removal from Office
1. This action may be combined with any other action or combination of actions.
2. This action may only be taken against a Coordinator mentioned in the Coordinator Bylaws, Section 1, or a sub-coordinator of one of those positions.
3. The proposal containing this action against an elected Coordinator must pass with the most votes to remove them. The Head Coordinator is obligated to use his or her to break the tie, if necessary.
4. Upon ratification of the removal the member will no longer serve OWBN in the position previously held. This action may not be reversed."

The proposed changed section, specifically, is this: "The proposal containing this action against an elected Coordinator must pass with the most votes to remove them. The Head Coordinator is obligated to use his or her to break the tie, if necessary."

I recommend this for 2 reasons:

1. If over half the voting members don't want an elected official because they did something so bad to warrant this Proposal, it's time to move on, folks. 2/3 majority is too much at this point.

2. Our voting system only takes simple majority votes. It doesn't log 2/3 majority votes. "2/3 majority votes" muck up the system.
