This Genre Proposal requires no second. Once put intodiscussion, and barring any objections posted here within one week, it
goes into effect without a vote. If objections are posted, it is voted
on as normally. If posting an objection, please retain the original
subject heading, with the addition of the word "OBJECTION", to assist
in identifying posts that change this proposal's status.
PROPOSAL:
In an effort to re-align the bylaws passed last August with what has
been passed before in regards to R&U, it is recognised that in past times
those Malkavian antitribu with Dominate, rather than Dementation, as an
in-clan Discipline were considered by OWBN as Unusual.
To reflect the "Dementation Wave" effect as expressed in WW canon, and as
generally accepted in OWBN genre, and to recognise the change and
development of the clan as a whole, it is my intent that Malkavians with
the Dominate Discipline in-clan be considered as Unusual, and that
Malkavian antitribu with the Dominate Discipline in-clan be considered as
Rare. This also pulls the Malkavians more accurately into line with the
Classifications definitions under the Rare and Unusual Bylaws, 9.a.i.
As such, the Rare and Unusual bylaws will be adjusted as follows:
9.a.ii [addition]
Dominate Discipline in-clan, either due to having such a sire, or due to
some "throwback" effect at Embrace.
9.b.iii [addition]
"...standard Mummies, Dominate Malkavian antitribu."
9.b.iv [addition]
"...common Changing Breeds, Dominate Malkavians."
NB:
due to other pending alterations to this section from other proposals. The
above addendums need likewise be flexible in exact wording and order,
pending changes to those bylaws prior to the passing of this proposal. The
intent of this bylaw should be clear, and further clarification is
available on request.
