As the CM of Always Comes Evening, San Francisco, California, I Jacob Siebert, Hereby Propose the following Bylaw change.

That

B. Sect Coordinators

i. Sect Coordinators are responsible for:

1. Monitoring and advising on status issues within the Sect

Be changed to:

B. Sect Coordinators

i. Sect Coordinators are responsible for:

1. Monitoring and advising on genre issues regarding the Sect, including but not limited to:

a. Status and Prestation

b. Sect laws, Justice, Politics, and Customs

c. Sect Positions and Designations (Such as Justicars, Princes, Barons, Cardinals as well as such things as the Red list and Black Hand membership)

d. Conflict and Intrigue both within and between the Sects (including Sect Infiltrators and Defectors)

e. Relevant abilities, powers or disciplines specific to a sect or part of a sect (Anarch Combos, Sabbat Rituals, Black Hand Art of Memory etc.)

I feel this change better reflects most people's understanding of what Sect Coords should do, making explicit their role IE, that it's about the whole sect and things that concern the whole sect, not just status. Currently they only have power over status, per the bylaws.

Nothing in this prop should be construed as giving Sect coord's sole authority over such matters. You can't do between sect conflict without two sect Coordinators, you can't do a Justicar without a Clan Coordinator, etc.

If necessary I can put that in the prop, but then we should consider doing the same for Clan Coordinators.

Jacob
