Introduction and Background:

Hey all! It's me, Shane West, current Sabbat Coordinator! How are things?

I'm running again, in hopes that I can bring more excitement and enjoyment to the Sabbat genre, and other genres tied to the Sabbat Office. This past year has been fantastic fun, and I've enjoyed my interactions with players and storytellers across the OWbN organization.

A little about me, for those of you who haven't heard about me before:

I'm a long time storyteller and player in the Mind's Eye Theater world, with experience from troupes I've worked with and run to my time here in OWbN. I have a lot of ideas, and lots of knowledge to back me up, and I have zero shame in asking others for help. You can't manage the Sabbat on your own, you can't possibly know every angle of every genre in one head, but with a well rounded team and a lot of friendly chats and teamwork, the Sabbat Office can continue to make the Sabbat Genre one that is worth playing in.

Olá a todos! Sou eu, Shane West, atual coordenador do Sabbat! Como estão as coisas?

Estou correndo de novo, na esperança de poder trazer mais emoção e prazer ao gênero do Sabá e a outros gêneros ligados ao escritório do Sabá. O ano passado foi divertido e eu gostei das minhas interações com jogadores e contadores de histórias em toda a organização OWbN.

Um pouco sobre mim, para aqueles que nunca ouviram falar de mim antes:

Sou contadora de histórias e jogadora de longa data no mundo do Mind's Eye Theatre, com experiência de trupes com quem trabalhei e corri para o meu tempo aqui na OWbN. Tenho muitas idéias e muito conhecimento para me apoiar, e não tenho vergonha de pedir ajuda aos outros. Você não pode gerenciar o Sabá por conta própria, não pode conhecer todos os ângulos de todos os gêneros de uma só vez, mas com uma equipe bem-formada e muitas conversas amigáveis e trabalho em equipe, o Escritório do Sabbat pode continuar fazendo o Sabá Gênero que vale a pena jogar.

Personal Statement:

I have a drive to learn everything I can about the World of Darkness, and have garnered a lot of useful tidbits over the years I've played in OWBN, as well as the years I have played outside the org. I take pride in the vast collection of World of Darkness books I have to pour over, and using them with purpose and drive has always helped me maintain a good focus as a subcoord. Using these tools to provide better stories and experiences for players is always paramount to any other activity, I feel.

I have gathered a more indepth knowledge of OWbN's culture and viewpoint of the Sabbat as the Sabbat Coordinator in the past year, and I feel I can continue to guide it and grow it into the future. 

Personal Statement (Portuguese):

Eu tenho um impulso para aprender tudo o que posso sobre o Mundo das Trevas, e acumulei muitas dicas úteis ao longo dos anos em que joguei na OWBN, assim como os anos em que joguei fora da organização. Orgulho-me da vasta coleção de livros do World of Darkness que tenho que derramar, e usá-los com propósito e motivação sempre me ajudou a manter um bom foco como subcoord. Usando essas ferramentas para fornecer melhores histórias e experiências para os jogadores é sempre fundamental para qualquer outra atividade, eu sinto.

Reuni um conhecimento mais profundo da própria cultura e do ponto de vista do Sabbat como Coordenador do Sabbat no ano passado, e sinto que posso continuar a orientá-lo e cultivá-lo no futuro.

Goals:

These are the new goals for the next term:

  • Finish packet and genre guide updates
  • Address balance issues of the Faction Benefits
  • Address Faction images and participation
  • Provide more storylines for the Sabbat genre
  • Continue to aid storytellers with genre adherence and viewpoints of the genre overall

In the past year, I've seen the Sabbat Genre grow, and some factions start receding into the background while others rise up in activity. I'm hoping to find a balance in there where all the factions get some love and attention that they need, as well as some additional balancing to make them all seem worth the energy to play.

Estes são os novos objetivos para o próximo mandato:

  • Concluir atualizações de guia de pacote e gênero
  • Abordar questões de saldo dos Benefícios da Facção
  • Endereçar imagens e participação da Facção
  • Forneça mais histórias para o gênero Sabbat
  • Continue ajudando os contadores de histórias com a adesão ao gênero e pontos de vista do gênero em geral

No ano passado, eu vi o gênero Sabbat crescer, e algumas facções começam a retroceder enquanto outras se levantam em atividade. Espero encontrar um equilíbrio lá em que todas as facções recebam algum amor e atenção de que precisam, bem como algum equilíbrio adicional para fazê-las parecer valer a energia necessária para jogar.
