Introduction and Background:

Hello OWBN!

I am back to attempt to be the org's Assistant Head (Assistant Adult) Coords.

This is the sixth coordinator application I’ve filled out in my time here. I think we’re well aware of who each other is by now. Especially after the last two weeks. You'll even notice this is a literal copy and paste short of this update, and maybe a few others.

I’m going to use the “Keep it Simple” method, because I’m going to be grilled on Council for a week plus for the second time this month.

Personal Statement:

Another year older and another year wiser.

In the last year I have hit almost every major event close enough to drive to, and many I flown to. Big regrets on not catching Sabbat or Garou events, but I’ll admit, I’m a Camarilla player through and through. If you want to help expand my setting horizons, we can discuss that on a personal level later.

It is my intent to be in a truly neutral administrator. I enjoy travelling and seeing how each home game makes their grass green, and think that if we can share how we do things on the local level, we can engage better regionally, nationally, and internationally.

OWBN needs someone friendly, fair, knowledgeable, and invested in having an org worth promoting. The org doesn't need a punitive hand right now, it needs a loving one with the strength and commitment to help guide it in a good direction with great leadership.

I’ve got a good grip on org bylaws and I genuinely want a fair OOC environment for people to play in and have fun. I've got the people skills to approach problems from a constructive angle and will listen to opposing viewpoints to hear them out knowing that others will show the same respect to me.

Goals:

Every leader needs to have goals. My list below is a solid baseline for things I’d like the OWBN community to work towards accomplishing. Obviously as the term goes on, these very well could evolve/change.

  • Neutrality in conflict resolution

  • Work with coords/STs to encourage travel and cross pollination of games

  • Work to make our COC more robust and ensure that it is universally applied.

  • Enable inter game agency so that local chronicles can work out their issues before requiring Exec involvement
