2014 - AHC 1 - Chris Barrs
Introduction and Background:
Hello everyone my name is Chris Barrs and I am writing today to ask for your vote in my campaign for AHC. I am a year one player in this organization and have watched it grow from a very loose federation of chronicles into the large orgaization that it is today. For those who may wish to put a face to the name I would be known as the charatcers Carmine Cicero, Issaiah Baldwin, Anthony Saragassi, James Blaylock and on the Garou side of the fence I was known as James (Westfield Jr) Petrovich. I have served three chronicles as their Council Rep Winona Dark Haven (in the late 90's), Winona Howls from the Valley (early 2000's, and my current position at LaCrosse: The River's Edge. I was a democratically elected Council Rep back in the days when Council Rep was assumed to be the job of the HST. I was the first non-ST to hold the positon in this org and am of the firm belief that non-st council reps are an excellent check and balance in those chronicles where it can be utilized. I have been and will continue to be a voice for players in this organization. Something I think many find is missing in OWBN. There is a perception that this org only allows the elite to be in the spotlight. This perception MUST change if we are to survive. I hope to help bring about this change.

Olá gente meu nome é Chris Barrs e estou escrevendo hoje para pedir o seu voto na minha campanha para o AHC. Estou um ano um jogador nesta organização e viram-na crescer a partir de uma federação frouxa das crónicas em o grande orgaization que é hoje. Para aqueles que desejam dar um rosto ao nome que viria a ser conhecido como o charatcers Carmine Cícero Issaiah Baldwin, Anthony Saragassi, James Blaylock e do Garou lado da barreira QUE EU era conhecido como James (Westfield Jr) Petrovitch. Tenho servido três crônicas como Representante seu Conselho Winona Dark Haven (no final da década de 90), Winona uive do Vale (no início de 2000 's, e minha atual posição em LaCrosse: margem do rio. Eu era um representante democraticamente eleito do Conselho para trás nos dias quando o Conselho representante foi assumida para ser o trabalho do HST. Administrative Experience:
As stated previously I have been Council Rep for 3 different chronicle in OWBN, I have also been an ST in all of these chronicles. I have also been a sub coordinator for Ventrue and Changeing Breeds (back when it was called Garou Coord). Further I was also a part of the start up of TGN (The garou Nation) and was a Tribal Moderator for that organization as well. I have been running Role-playing games of many types for in excess of 30 years and have been a gamer in excess of 35 years. One piece of negative information I feel it would be less than honest not to share is the details of my time as OWBN Giovanni Coordinator. I was a poor (to say the least) Giovanni Coordinator. That was very difficult time in my life. As such my ambition to perform the job to the best of my ability was low. I resigned the position after 7 months on the job in which time I reall didn't do much other than be a figure head. The real truth is that anything good that came out of that time for Giovanni Genre was the result of the work of Alex Kallend and Jason Robinson. They did my job for me. I am in a very different place emotionally, spritually, physically and mentally than I was during those days. that time was a very dark period of my life. While today is one of the best periiods of my life. I am in a much better place to perform this job well today than I was at that time. For me this is my chance at redemptioon for that time. I cannot change what happened back then but I can promise that the mistakes made during that time will not happen again.

Como foi dito anteriormente, têm sido o Rep para 3 diferentes crónica da OWBN, tenho também sido um ST em todas estas crônicas. Também tenho sido um sub coordenador para Ventrue e Changeing raças (quando foi chamado Garou Coord). Além disso, foi também uma parte da start up do TGN (a Nação garou) e foi um Tribal Moderador para que organização, bem. Tenho estado a trabalhar jogos de interpretação de papéis de vários tipos para mais de 30 anos, e tem sido um jogador em excesso de 35 anos. Um pedaço de informação negativa parece-me ser menos honesto para não compartilhar é os detalhes do meu tempo como OWBN Giovanni Coordenador. EU era um pobre (para dizer o mínimo) Giovanni Coordenador. Que foi muito difícil na minha vida. Como tal, a minha ambição para executar o trabalho para o melhor de minha habilidade foi baixa. Renunciei a posição depois de 7 meses de trabalho em que momento EU reall não fizeram muito diferente de ser uma figura chefe. A verdade é que alguma coisa de bom que saiu do que tempo para Giovanni gênero foi o resultado do trabalho de Alex Kallend e Jason Robinson. Eles fizeram meu trabalho para mim. Eu estou em um lugar muito diferente spritually, emocionalmente, fisicamente e mentalmente que eu era durante esses dias. que o tempo foi um período particularmente sombrio da minha vida. Enquanto hoje em dia é um dos melhores periiods da minha vida. Estou em um lugar muito melhor para realizar este trabalho bem hoje que eu era naquele momento. Para mim, esta é a minha chance de redemptioon durante esse tempo. Não posso mudar o que aconteceu para trás, em seguida, mas posso prometer que os erros cometidos durante esse tempo não vai voltar a acontecer.
Personal Statement:
We have a few issues in this organization. I think we all know that. Two of the biggest issues I hope to help change are the disease that I call "It doesn't say I can't" and Chronicles not voting on issues. Anyone who knows me well knows I am firmly of the belief that the spirit of the rules are MUCH more important than the letter. Our bylaws have become bloated because people manipulate the letter of the rules. I hope to help foster a spriit of looking at the spirit rather than the letter of the rules in personal decision makeing in the org. This is not something that can be legislated nor should it be. It can only be acomplished by being the change you wish to see.
Personal Statement (Portuguese):
Temos algumas questões a esta organização. Acho que todos nós sabemos isso. Dois dos maiores problemas que espero contribuir para a mudança são a doença que eu chamo de "não dizer não posso " e crônicas não votar sobre os assuntos. Quem me conhece bem sabe que eu sou firmemente à crença que o espírito das regras são muito mais importantes do que a letra. Nosso estatuto social tornaram-se envaidecido porque as pessoas manipulam a letra do Regimento. Espero que ajude a promover um spriit de olhando para o espírito e não a letra do Regimento na decisão pessoal makeing na org. Isso é algo que não pode ser legislada nem deve ser. Ele só pode ser fazer por ser a mudança que você deseja ver.
Goals:
My number on goal for this term is to reach out to the chronicles that are not voting and find out why? I also wish to find out what can be done to encourage them start voting. Real change in this organization starts at the chronicle level. When only a few are voting it perpetuates the perception that only the elite have a voice in the org. I beliegv that changeing this perception begins with ensureing the maximum participation psossible by the chronicles in the org. I remember a time when votes didn't close until all chrionicles had voted. Back then we only had 30 chronicles. Today we have a lot more. However, i still see that only the chronicles that have been around forever and a few others seem to vote on the issues. We MUST increase this participation.

O meu número na meta para este mandato é para atingir o crônicas que não votamos e descubra por quê? Também gostaria de saber o que pode ser feito para incentivar-lhes iniciar a votação. Uma verdadeira mudança na organização começa a crónica. Quando apenas alguns estão a votar que perpetua a percepção de que só a elite tem uma voz na org. EU beliegv que changeing essa percepção começa com o máximo de participação ensureing psossible pelas crónicas do org. Estou a lembrar-me de um tempo quando os votos não fechar até que todos chrionicles tinha votado. Então, só tinha 30 crônicas. Hoje temos muito mais. No entanto, eu continuo a ver que apenas as crônicas que foram ao redor para sempre, e de alguns outros parecem estar a votar sobre os assuntos. Temos que aumentar essa participação.
