[Proposal] 5th Edition Ban - 15 September, 2018

I Rob Beckett, CM of Orlando Magic Kingdom propose the following:

Add to administrative bylaws 10.

B. 5^th Edition Products are not acceptable source material for One World by Night.

            i. Any game wishing to bring in specific plot or mechanic elements from 5^th Edition material must put forth a proposal requiring a 2/3 majority to pass. Should that proposal pass, that material may be used in OWbN.

Rationale, The plot elements and mechanical elements of this product are not conducive to play in owbn. If at some point we wish to fully convert that might be an option, but our normal piecemeal method of inclusion simply is insufficient in this particular case.

We discussed this on council in August when V5 was released and this seems to be the best course of action based on that discussion. I wrote this to be inclusive of all 5E books so that we do not have to revisit this with more and more bylaw props as further material is released.
