2014 - Camarilla - Shane King
Introduction and Background:
Greetings and Salutations everyone,
My name is Shane King, and I want to be your Camarilla Cordinator for 2014-2015.
I have been apart of this org on a variety of levels sicne 2004, starting out as a player and then eventually working up to ST in a few of the local games. While HST of Thicker Than Blood I ran the first (if not ever in a very long time) joint genre event game and had a blast doing it. I developed a friendship with many members of the org through that event game that I wouldn't have known more than on a passing level, so even if that game had bombed I would still be very thankful to this day for that event game.
Through my time in the org I have been a sub coord for a variety of genre coords, Narrator, AST, and HST of games in the Minnesota and Wisconsin area.
I currently am attending school to get an associate’s degree in Culinary arts, and have submitted my application for a Bachelor’s degree in psychology when I graduate with my AS this summer.
I have a background in sales and sales management, as well as resturant management.
This hobby is one of my greatest passions, and I truely look forward to getting to work for this organization at its players.

Meu nome é Shane King e eu quero ser o Coordenador Camarilla em 2014-2015. Eu tenho feito parte da org em diversos níveis desde 2004, começando como player e então eventualmente trabalhando como ST em alguns eventos locais/regionais. Enquanto HST de crônica Thicker Than Blood (IC: Dulith OOC: Twin Cities) eu organizei o primeiro (ou o primeiro depois de muito tempo) jogo em conjunto de gêneros e foi bem satisfatório. Eu fiz amizade com varias pessoas da org através desse evento com as quais eu não teria maior contato que apenas conhecer de vista, então mesmo que o evento tivesse fracassado, eu ainda estaria grato por ele.
Através do meu tempo pela org, eu tenho sido sub coord de vários gêneros, Narrador, AST e HST dos jogos em Minnesota e Wisconsin. Eu, atualmente, estou estudando para ter um diploma em Artes Culinárias e protocolei um pedido para diploma de bacharel em pisicologia assim que me graduar no verão. Eu tenho experiência em vendas e gerência de vendas, assim como gerência em restaurantes. E esse hobby é umas das minha maiores paixões, eu realmente tentarei trabalhar para essa organização e seus jogadores.

Twelve years sales experience in a variety of Sales positions, including Real Estate, Finance, big ticket items, and Automobiles.
I bring up the sales experience for a very simple reason, while this has nothing to do with the org, it does show that I have had success in fields that require good book keeping, and the ability to handle administrative duties, ranging from delegation of tasks adhering to schedules, deadlines, and more.

Eu trago a experiencia de vendas por um motivo muito simples, como isso não tem nada haver com a org, isso mostra que tive sucesso em campos que requerem uma boa contabilidade, e a habilidade de lhe dar com deveres administrativos, saber quando delegar tarefas, respeitando prazos e seus términos, entre outros.
Personal Statement:
I feel that this org is still alive, and while it has had some issues, they can be overcame. I want to help the org do that. I have a deep passion for the Camarillia Genre and all that can come with it. I want to work with the games and Coordinators across the org both Cam and Sabbat in helping them on Camarillia issues in their plots.

Eu sinto que essa organização ainda está viva, e quanto aos problemas eles podem ser solucionados. Eu quero ajudar a org a fazer isso. Eu tenho uma grande paixão pelo Gênero Camarilla e tudo que vem com isso. Eu quero trabalhar com os jogos e Coordenadores através da org, tanto Camarilla como Sabá e ajudando nos problemas de plot que a Camarilla tiver.
Goals:
As far as goals that I have for the position, one of the first things I want to address and get accomplished is the return of an International Communication List. While I agree with the argument that its not entirely genre to have this massive list that could easily be compromised and become a large masquerade breech, I believe that the fun of the game comes first. Within a week of being elected (assuming I am) I will have a poll put up that I can see actual numbers of who wants the cam list back. I am aware of the petitions that are out there, but do not have access to them to see the numbers. With that being said once I get the numbers and if they come back the way I believe they will I want to find a way to have the list back up and running within two months of the election, I hope to have it done faster.
Over the last few years there has been work put into and against the Assamites getting a Justicar, one of the focuses of this year if I am elected will be to help facilitate this story further. Working with the Assamite coord as well as the Toreador coord, I would like to see this become a point of role play for the entire org this year. I want to help facilitate that story for those that have been in the time and effort to make this a possible realty.
A few years back there was a talk about having an Inner Circle meeting as they do this every thirteen years to determine the clans Justicars. I would like to make this a reality this year. This does not mean that I want to change all the Justicars, but to work with the Coordinators of the various clans to see where they would like to go with their genre and their respective Justicars which will play a big role in facilitating their genre.
One thing that is always a touchy aspect of Camarilla genre is the power of Princes vs. Power of Justicars and their duly appointed agents. I want to spend this year further pushing the power of Princes. To do this I would like to work with local games to give them chances to help push this aspect of genre. I firmly believe that Princes are the ultimate power within their Domain. I would like to get back to the point where having an Archon show up for Official Business is a big deal. This is the flip side of the Princes power to the Domain. Princes should not be asking Justicars for help through their Agents within a Domain, its akin to them admitting they can not handle the affairs of their Domain. While this can occasionally be due to overwhelming problems, I would like to see this as a last resort.
Additionally I would like to look over the Status packet, and in conjunction with that develop a Harpy packet. My vision of the Harpy packet is not a hard line clear cut here are the powers that a Harpy has, but more a guide on being a Harpy. On the current Cam Coord staff there are several members who have played very powerful Harpies, who would be a great resource to help write this packet. This is something that I believe could be very effective and helpful, particularly to the first time Harpy.
Ultimately my job as a Coordinator would be to help coordinate between fellow Coordinators, and games, in addition to helping games coordinate with other games. As well as to help facilitate story for the org, through other Genre Coordinators and Story Telling staffs across the org. This ultimately summarizes all the goals I have for the Camarilla Coordinator office for the upcoming year.

Como objetivos a longo prazo para a posição, uma das primeiras coisas que eu quero fazer e concluir é o retorno da lista internacional de comunicação. Eu concordo com o argumento que não é totalmente gênero ter esse lista massiva, que ela pode facilmente ser comprometida e se tornar um quebra de mascara imensa. Eu acredito que a diversão do jogo vem primeiro. Dentro de uma semana de eleita (assumindo que eu seja eleito) eu vou abrir um votação para ver o numero atual de quem quer a lista de volta. Eu estou ciente do numero de mensagens que tem lá, mas não tenho acesso a ela para ver numeros. Isso é o começo, depois que obtiver os numeros e se eles quiserem que volte eu acredito que vão achar um jeito de colocar a lista de volta a ativa em dois meses depois da eleição. Eu espero fazer que isso ocorrá rapido.
Através dos ultimos anos, houve uma movimentação, contra ou a favor, de um Justicar Assamita. Um dos meus focus,desse ano se eu for eleito, sera ajudar essa historia. Trabalhando com a Cood Assamita e assim como a coord Toreador. Eu vou gostaria de ver isso se tornar um dos pontos principais de jogo para a organização inteira essa ano. Eu quero ajudar a facilitar essa historia para aqueles que dedicaram tempo e esforço para fazer essa possibilidade se realizar.
Alguns anos atrás houve uma conversa sobre ter uma reunião do Circulo Interno, como eles fazem a cada trinta anos para determinar os Justicares dos clãs. Eu gostaria de fazer isso acontecer esse ano. Isso não significa que quero mudar todos os Justicares, mas trabalhar com os Coordenadores de varios clãs para ver aonde eles querem que seus generos e seus respectivos Justicares vão, o que vai ser um grande jogo e facilitação do gênero.
Uma coisa que é sempre um aspecto delicado do gênero da Camarilla é o poder de Principe vs. Poder do Justicar e seus devidos agentes. Eu quero passar esse ano aumentando o poder dos Príncipes. Pra fazer isso eu gostaria de trabalhar junto com os jogos locias para dar um chance de ajudar os aspectos do gênero. Eu acredito fielmente que Príncipes são soberanos em seus domínios. Eu gostaria de voltar ao ponto onde ter um Arconte aparecendo para assuntos oficiais seja algo grande. Esse é o “lance” do qual quero dar poder no domino para os Príncipes . Príncipes não deveriam pedir ajuda aos Justicares através de seus Agentes dentro do Domínio, isso aparenta que eles estão admitindo que não podem controlar os problemas do domínios dele. Enquanto isso pode ocasionalmente ocorrer no caso de problemas excessivos, eu gostaria de ver isso como um ultimo recurso.
Eu gostaria de dar uma olhada no Status Packet, e em conjunto com o desenvolvimento do Harpy Packet. Minha visão do Harpy Packet não seria um linha clara dos poderes que uma harpia pode ou não ter, seria mais um guia de como ser harpia. Na atual equipe da Coord Camarilla, tem vários jogadores que jogam ou jogaram com Harpias poderosas, que poderia ser de grande valia para escrever esse Packet. Isso é algo que eu acredito que seria muito útil e efetivo, particularmente para a harpia de primeira viagem.
Por fim, meu trabalho como coordenador é ajudar a coordenar os meus colegas Coordenadores e jogos em adição a outros jogo entre si. Assim como ajudar a facilitar historias para a org, através de outros Coodenadores de Genero e narradores e suas respectivas equipes. Esse ultimo ponto resume todos os meus objetivos que eu tenho como Escritório do Coordenador Camarilla para o ano que se segue.
