[SECOND] [AMENDMENT] [BYLAW REVISION] Edit to Mediation Coordinator Bylaws
Open Votes
I, Adam Sartori, CM for Kings of New York propose the following change to the OWBN Coordinator Bylaws:
--Current--
x.1.ii: The specific details of such mediation shall remain confidential and shall not be made public unless Disciplinary Action as a result of such mediation is sought, in which case the executive team may make the action wholly or partially public, in the exercise of their discretion.
--After—
x.1.ii: The specific details of such mediation shall remain confidential and shall not be made public unless a Disciplinary Action has been proposed to council, in which case the executive team may make the action wholly or partially public, in the exercise of their discretion.
REMOVED: unless Disciplinary Action as a result of such mediation is sought,
REPLACED WITH: unless a Disciplinary Action has been proposed to council,
---Reasoning—
It has been brought to my attention that during a recent Disciplinary Action vote, that the Mediation Team has vital evidence from a Mediation they were not allowed to bring forward as a result of the Bylaw as it currently is. We believe evidence and transparency is important and trust in OWBN Exec Team to decide when it is necessary for OWBN Council to see any evidence from a Mediation that is relevant to a proposed Disciplinary Action
Thanks,
HST and CM for Kings of New York
