I, Kevin O'Connor, in my duties as Malkavian Coordinator, hereby propose the following changes to the Character Bylaws:
10.L.i.32:
From:
Jocastatian Lore - PC: Coordinator Approval - NPC: Coordinator Approval - Coordinator: Sabbat
To:
Jocastian Lore - PC: Coordinator Approval - NPC: Coordinator Approval - Coordinator: Malkavian
10.L.iii.9:
From:
Jocastians Cult Membership - PC: Coordinator Approval – NPC: Coordinator Approval – Coordinator: Sabbat
To:
Jocastians Cult Membership - PC: Coordinator Approval – NPC: Coordinator Approval – Coordinator: Malkavian
10.L.iii.7 and 10.L.iii.8:
From:
Mnemosyne Cult Membership for non-Jocastatians - PC: Coordinator Approval - NPC: Coordinator Approval - Coordinator: Malkavian
Mnemosyne Cult Membership for Jocastatians - PC: Disallowed - NPC: Disallowed
To:
Mnemosyne Cult Membership for non-Jocastians - PC: Coordinator Approval - NPC: Coordinator Approval - Coordinator: Malkavian
Mnemosyne Cult Membership for Jocastians - PC: Disallowed - NPC: Disallowed
This proposal allows Grandfathering and has the potential to autopass.
Reasoning: Now that the "Fury of the Forgotten" metaplot has passed, I would like to change these bylaws so that I can simultaneously run both of the Malkavian secret societies that are related to the metaplot and related to one another. (Mnemosyne and Jocastians)
I would also like to make the spelling of "Jocastian" consistent within the by-laws. The books have printed both "Jocastatian" and "Jocastian" spellings, but the "Jocastian" spelling is what I believe we should stick to within the Org.
I feel that I should disclose that I currently have an active Jocastian PC in play as I prop this. I plan on playing that PC for the last time at the Kings of New York Chronicle this Saturday. If the PC survives that game, then I will be permanently retiring it into an NPC afterwards. Either way, I will no longer be playing that PC by the time this prop has a chance to pass.
Thank you!
Kevin O'Connor
Malkavian Coordinator
