Pursuant to Coordinator Bylaw §3.C.iii.1.a, I, Anthony Nordman, as Lasombra Coordinator, propose the following. This proposal has the potential to autopass.
I. VAMPIRE CONTROLLED ITEMS
viii. Powers
##. Obtenebration based Combination Disciplines possessed by Non-Lasombra or their Bloodlines - PC: Coordinator Approval - NPC: Unregulated - Coordinator: Lasombra
Armory of the Abyss
Armor of Darkness
Clarity of Emptiness (Obtenebration Variant)
Dark Steel
Eminence of Shade
Gazing into the Abyss
Shadowed Eyes
Shadow Looking Glass
Shroud of Absence
This is being proposed with No Legacy.
Rationale: I feel there is a proliferation of some of the more powerful Lasombra combos on non-lasombra, and I would like to have more of a handle on how these specific combos are spread out. The alternative here is to simply regulate them for non-Sabbat, where Obten is already regulated - however I feel it is fairer to regulate them across the board. This is being proposed with no Legacy to assure that those who have these combos got them from a valid source.

Dubuque, IA - USA, Kingdom of Ashes | For | If they are proliferated enough to be a problem, then No Legacy is the appropriate solution. No Legacy just means you need to get the Coord's approval. Honestly, if you feel that's too much of an administrative nightmare for your game, maybe that's why this has become a problem. This comment has been revised 1 time. San Antonio, TX - USA, Libertatis Cunabula | For | Obten Combos can be extremely powerful, and I do 100% believe there should be regulation for things outside of the clan. They are meant for clan, not for sect pass arounds. |
