[Proposal][Bylaws][Genre][Auto-Pass] Deregulation of Creatures of Smoke and Shadow

 

"3.C.iii     Genre Coordinators must pass before Council any plot, R&U bylaw revision, R&U named characters, Coordinator-NPC Character Resurrections, territory requests, in character enforced policy, or in character binding edict they wish to use which they can reasonably expect to affect multiple chronicles and these proposals need not be seconded, but go immediately into discussion."

 
To be Removed from Character Bylaws:

7.b.vi     Any item or power that detects a Creature of Smoke & Shadow while in possession requires Malkavian Coordinator Approval

7.b.vii    Any type of "Ward versus..." power which affects a Creature of Smoke & Shadow requires Malkavian Coordinator Approval in addition to the approval of whichever Coordinator would normally approve the power (for example, Tremere Coordinator for Hermetic Thaumaturgical Rituals), if necessary

1.       Use of a Creature of Shadow & Smoke - PC: Disallowed - NPC: Coordinator Notify - Coordinator: Malkavian

 

 

This proposal has the ability to Auto-Pass without objection.

 

Reasoning: The Fury of the Forgotten metaplot, aka my new attempt at the 'Year of Smoke' metaplot, aka the 'Daeva plot', is now over and there are no more "Creatures of Smoke and Shadow" to be Coord-regulated. I plan on providing a full report to Council soon with the details of the metaplot resolution and to upcoming changes that I plan to propose as a result, but until then I thought it would be prudent to just get the process started of cleaning these out of the Bylaws and leaving it all solely within ST discretion now.
