Custom Combination Discipline / Technique

The vampire transforms his eyes into pseudo-liquid spherical shapes of utter blackness; this technique happens at the end of the turn and has two effects. 

 

The first effect allows the vampire to see in complete darkness, suffering no penalties from natural darkness (e.g. functions mecahnically the same as the Protean power Eyes of the Beast). 

 

Secondly, effect augments the extrasensory discipline of Auspex with the ability to pierce the effects of Obtenebration (e.g. Shroud of Night and Tenebrous Veil) in the same manner of Auspex vs Obfuscate; substituting Obtenebration for Obfuscate in the challenge. However there are two drawbacks to this technique; much like the power Tenebrous Form you have no eyes and thus receive a -2 trait penalty whether you are employing or being targeted by the discipline of Dominate (or any other power requiring eye contact). Also while employing this ability you suffer from the Negative Social Trait: Inhumane as your eyes become the very substance of the abyss.
