Introduction and Background:

Hello!

 

I’m Luke Philippi and this time I am running for Gangrel Coordinator for the 2015 term. I have been the Admissions Coordinator From late January 2012 - March 2014 and since then have been your Gangrel Coordinator. Let’s do this one more time.


Below you will find a concise and conscionable application for the position. This last year I had goals - and I think I’m batting .650 or better. We’ll touch on them later.

This last year we focused on responsiveness and providing the opportunity to cause internal strife in a stagnant clan. I think I’ve succeeded at that. Waiting out to see which way OWBN went on Onyx Path or By Night Studios provides a convenient excuse for not having to do a Gangrel Packet - but we’re on it, and will try to include new material.

Here is a brief list of accomplishments from my last year.

  • Plot to re-define and close up old parts of OWBN Gangrel Genre

  • Bringing Akunase into playability along the lines of RL current events

  • Claiming territory, and shoring up Gangrel RnU

Olá!

 

Eu sou Luke Philippi and desta vez estou concorrendo para Coordenador Gangrel para o mandato de 2015. Já fui Coordenador de Admissões desde o final de janeiro de 2012 – março de 2014 e desde então tenho side seu Coordenador Gangrel. Vamos fazer isto mais uma vez.

 

Abaixo vocês irão encontrar uma inscrição concisa e consciente para a posição. Ano passado eu tinha objetivos – e penso que estou realizei 65% ou mais. Falaremos disso depois.

 

Neste último ano nos focamos em responder e providenciar a oportunidade para causar conflitos internos em um clã estagnante. Acho que fui bem sucedido nisto. Esperando ver para qual lado o OWBN iria em relação a Onyx Path ou By Night Studios proporcionou uma desculpa conveniente para não fazer um Manual Gangrel – mas estamos trabalhando nisto e tentaremos incluir novo material.

 

Aqui estão uma curta lista do que alcancei durante o ano passado.

  • Trama para redefinir e fechar partes antigas do Gênero Gangrel do OWBN

  • Fiz dos Akunase jogáveis, dentro das linhas dos eventos atuais do role play

  • Requisitei território, organizer o R&U Gangrel

 

Administrative Experience:

I have been a member and active player in OWBN since 2004. Since then I have had the opportunity to be an ST for over 4 + years, a Council Member for just under 3 years, and have aided in running events in Fargo, the Twin Cities, and Columbus and the last Gangrel Event.

I have played in games from Winnipeg to NVA to Kublacon. I have been an Admissions Subcoord for about a year before Admissions Coord for two years. I am the current Gangrel Coordinator.

 

 

Administrative Experience (Portuguese):

Tenho sido um jogador e um membro ativo na OWBN desde 2004. Desde então eutive a oportunidade de ser um ST por mais de 4 anos, um Council Member por quase 3 anos, e tenho auxiliado em organizar eventos em Fargo, Twin Cities, e Columbus e o último Evento Gangrel.

 

Joguei de Winnipeg para NVA até Kublacon. Fui subcoord de admissões por quase um ano antes de ser Coord de Admissões por dois anos. Sou o atual Coordenador Gangrel.

Personal Statement:

Why am I running for this position again? I mean come on, right?

 

Because I think I did a mighty fine job this last year.

 

I am a tenured coordinator that has survived Coord Team and Council implosions, accusations and baffling voting results. I fight for the things I think are good for my genre and for the org. I have passed more props as Gangrel Coord in the last year than any of the last 5 gangrel coordinators combined. I am active. I travel. I love this game. And I think the next year will be better yet.

Personal Statement (Portuguese):

Por que estou concorrendo para esta posição novamente? Quero dizer, qual é, certo?

 

Porque eu penso que eu fiz um bom trabalho ano passado.

 

Eu sou um coordenador titular que sobrevivem à Equipe de Coord e implosões da Council, acusações e resultados desconcertantes de votações. Luto pelas coisas que penso serem boas para o meu gênero e para a org. Passei, como Coord Gangrel, mais propostas, ano passado, do que os últimos 5 coordenadores gangrel juntos. Eu sou ativo. Viajo. Adoro esse jogo. E penso que ano que vem será melhor ainda.

 

Goals:

With the groundwork I laid out last year the next year is going to be mo’betta.

  • PACKET - With some new things, and our own OWBN Flair.

  • Continue to Empower ST’s and Players with tools to provide IC consequences to deserving PCs, and IC rewards to the deserving PCs that dole them out.

  • Hire new people who want a foot in the door.

Other things I hope to be successful at doing

  • Running another great Gangrel Event in June

  • Keep working with the Coord Team for new opportunities to tell an encompassing story

  • Empowering Sub-Coordinator to help keep outstanding requests to a minimum.

And in a perfect world…

  • All requests will be handled by email.

  • Combination disciplines, and how they are handled will align with the rest of the clans

  • Continue to document and BA approvals as needed.

  • Continue rewarding not only good Gangrel PC’s but good VAMPIRE PC’s that are also Gangrel.

 

To conclude...

 

Last year was good for me as Gangrel Coordinator. Our event was good. A lot of PC’s of all point values had stake in what’s going on - and things got to be shaken up. I’d like to see the Gangrel brand of Vampire continue on it’s path, as it’s going to get a lot darker, and that’s where I think we need to be.

 

If my clan’s going to hell in a handbasket, I want to be the one carrying it.

Com a base que eu construe ano passado, este ano será bem melhor

 

  • MANUAL- com algumas coisas novas e com nosso próprio tempero do OWBN.

  • Continuar a empoderar STs e Jogadores com ferramentas para providenciar consequências IC para PCs merecedores, e recompensas IC para PCs merecedores que realmente trabalharam por isto

  • Contratar novas pessoas que querem um pé na porta

 

Outras coisas nas quais espero conseguir fazer

 

  • Conduzir outro grande Evento Gangrel em Junho

  • Continuar a trabalhar com a Equipe de Coords por novas oportunidades de contar uma história abrangente

  • Empoderar Subcoordenadores para ajudar a manter solicitações excepcionais em um mínimo

 

E em um mundo perfeito...

 

  • Todas as requisições serão resolvidas por email.

  • Combinações de disciplinas e como elas são lidadas serão alinhadas com os demais clãs

  • Continuar a registrar e aprovar BA quando for necessário

  • Continuar a recompensar não apenas boms PCs Gangrel, mas bons PCs VAMPIROS que também são Gangrel.

 

Ano passado foi bom para mim como Coordenador Gangrel. Nosso evento foi bom. Vários PCs de várias pontuações tinham participação no que acontecia – e as coisas foram agitadas. Gostaria de ver o tipo Gangrel de Vampiro continuar em seu caminho, uma vez que irá ficar bem mais sombrio, e essa é a forma que eu penso que devemos ser.

 

Se o meu clã estiver indo para o inferno em uma cestinha, eu quero sem quem a estará carregando.
